Urgent care
If you find that you need an urgent care center, this place is open on Sundays. I immediately made an appointment this morning, feb 18, 2024. I had to work today, was about 20 minutes late for my appt, and they were so pleasant when I arrived. I thought I had an ear infection; turns out I had a massive amount of ear wax in my left ear. Sarah and Jessica were very friendly and personable. Doctor Courtney was also very thorough. I'll be picking up my prescription at Walgreens tomorrow. Sarah was gentle and she removed so much wax from my ear. What a blessing to have this urgent care center near my job. I highly reccomend this amazing urgent care center.❤🙏

I accidentally sliced off the side of finger and they helped staunch the bleeding and reassured me that no further care was needed. Much better then going to the emergency room. Great and friendly care.

The nurse was friendly but not at all gentle in swabbing my nose for the pcr test. I let her know how much she was hurting me and I know it could have been done to the same effect a lot more gently. She also told me it would take 2-3 days to get pcr results. I was led to believe otherwise from your web site and the doctor who was very friendly came in after and said we should have it probably 24 hours.

Dr Slinker was amazing. So wonderful with my son (and daughter). He was patient and took his time. He also went out of his way to write a very detailed letter for my son’s return to school so that we wouldn’t have to repeat a covid test that I had already recently done. I also forgot my diaper bag in my rush to urgent care and they found diapers and wipes for me which was so helpful.

PMP Is by far the best urgent care ever. What isn't to love about this establishment. The staff are all warm and welcoming, it's clean, and the service is awesome. I took two of my children for care, and in less than one hour we were home and feeling extremely happy about our visit. Please continue the great work and thank you all for a great experience.

It was super easy to schedule the appointment. I spent 5hours at Children's Hosp waiting area. Then I scheduled an appointment online with PM pediatrics, I was out in 20 Minutes. Now I know where to go for urgent care. Everyone was kind and nice. The place looks very welcoming and clean. We went at 10:45pm

I had a great experience at this facility. The personnel was nice and welcoming. The doctor was attentive, kind and helpful. Wait time was very short. The place was clean, and we will definitely will come back whenever we need urgent care for our kids in the future.

I’m so happy to have a pediatric urgent care so close to my home. The staff are always kind, friendly and have been great with my 3yo and 1yo. Not going anywhere else for urgent pediatric care!!

This is a great pediatrics urgent care. The workers are very attentive caring compassionate and serious about their work. The doctor was quick in an out and knew what he was talking about. I am highly satisfied.

Wonderful experience, again! Everyone was kind and patient from the doctor to the nurses to the receptionist. We like visiting this urgent care more than our actual pediatrician!

Urgent Care FAQs

  • How much will an urgent care visit in Washington DC cost?

The price charged at an urgent care, whether in Washington DC or elsewhere, will be based on the location, and there are no actual standard costs between the clinics. Assuming you are paying with cash, you might come across an urgent clinic that charges you $50 while another situated some mile away charges you $100 for the same services. The standard cost in urgent care where insurance cover is not involved ranges from $100 to $125. This price is generally the standard price of a visit before extra services. There are a couple of additional care services that could make your appointment to an urgent care costly including x-rays and lab tests, medications and injections (such as immunization), casting broken bones, as well as stitches and splints. If you have a viable insurance plan in place, the standard pay will be between $20 – 50 depending on your insurance coverage and whether you are in contact with the provider.

  • What is the best urgent care center in Washington DC?

While it would be easy to provide a list of urgent care centers in and around Washington DC, 'best' is a challenging term to qualify. • What is Urgent Care?

Urgent care is available to assist patients that are looking for immediate, convenient medical care. In that manner, they are similar to an emergency room. The difference, however, is that ERs are meant to treat major, life-threatening injuries and illnesses while urgent care centers manage life’s minor bruises and bumps. In simple terms, an urgent care is seen as a walk-in health center that focuses in offering non-emergent health care conditions, including the treatment of the typical illnesses and injuries such as fractures and sprains, cuts and burns, scrapes, stings and bites, flu and cold symptoms, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, and much more. Most urgent care facilities offer both diagnostic and preventive care such as well visits, immunizations, STD testing and annual physicals. For regular visits and check-ups on these clinics, you should expect to pay between $20 and $100. The good thing is that most urgent care clinics will accept major PPOs and insurance cover, Medicare, as well as self-pay in the form of credit cards or cash. Urgent care clinics are located in most parts of the country in various regions to offset emergency room visits and provide a gap in healthcare services. They take patients during all hours of operations, which offer a significant convenience to most people who have and continue to undergo the need for sudden and immediate medical attention.
